Corkwear for Wallpaper* Handmade

We received the material and immediately fell in love with its unexpected, textile-like qualities. The sheets of cork behaved similarly to leather or denim - warm, natural, beautiful, sewable - and, considering cork’s inherent performance qualities of insulation and water resistance, we decided to build a jacket. Corkwear’s construction is exposed to highlight this unconventional fabric’s rawness, natural structure, and intention.
